The Weyside is a fantastic pub run by Anna and Dan Bragger, parents of a 20 month old tot. As soon as you step inside you know they've got your back when it comes to kid friendly dining.

Anna and Dan know (and understand) the struggle and as a result, you honestly don't get any more family friendly than this pub.
The vibe at the Weyside is reminiscient of the lovely members clubs in London I used to frequent in my former life as an Ad Exec. A home away from home for people who live on top of each other in an urban setting. The Barn is a fabulous area that's perfect for families. Toys, clean play mats, games and more are ready for you. Read the paper and enjoy a pint while the little ones play.
Lots of seating to flop around on (and in the old days read the paper). Roaring fires during the winter and outside space where you can sip cocktails and natter during long summer nights. It's the kind of place you'd hang out all day and get to know everyone who works there. Yo! Braggers, I'm moving in!
It looks like the living room of my Pinterest-fueled dreams. Fab decor, over stuffed sofas that look like they cost a bomb and a place for the kids to play. The kids stuff is tucked away tastefully in a little nook and you'd never know it was there. Talk about being seen but not heard! It kept my tiny terror amused and that's something.
The amount of natural light that streams thorugh the pub on even the greyest of Autumn days is amazing. I don't need to tell you what a January day is like in the U.K so I'm fond of anywhere I can go that doesn't feel like a mole hole. With views of the river and proper coffee (not to mention the food & wine!!) I can officially declare this THE spot for the COME ALONG TOO CREW.
We'll be running our weekly Coffee Club meet-up at the Weyside every Friday from 11am-1pm. Join us for a fantasic 45 minute Zebedees music class followed by coffee and a chat. Just £5 a class and siblings are FREE! Find out more and book online here.
